Maintenance Level 2-5
Reports to: Maintenance Supervisor
Supervises: Not Applicable
Installs, maintains and troubleshoots material handling, pollution control equipment, production
equipment and manufacturing facility; demonstrates high level of skill in using appropriate machine and hand tools; has necessary experience in accepted mechanical and electrical maintenance practices and procedures along with repair welding, cutting and rigging skills.
Performs a wide variety of machine installation, maintenance and troubleshooting work to keep
production and support equipment in operating condition.
Installs and replaces anti-friction bearings in all types of plant equipment such as oscillating
conveyors, belt conveyors, molding equipment, grinders and other foundry equipment; knows and uses correct practices and procedures.
Installs, repairs, replaces and troubleshoots power transmission drives and aligns and adjusts sheaves
and couplings in equipment such as overhead cranes, oscillating conveyors, mullers, shot blast equipment, dust collectors and other foundry equipment.
Performs all work required to rig, move and erect all types of equipment for new installations, major
part replacement and layout changes; operate fork lift trucks sometimes equipped with special attachments in a manner peculiar to maintenance for lifting, pulling and transporting; skillfully uses all types of rigging and hoisting equipment such as chain falls, jacks and ratcheting hoists.
Uses maintenance shop tools in a skillful, competent and safe manner.
Must demonstrate 100% compliance with safety and environmental procedures including lock out
tag procedures and uses safety equipment appropriate for the job; is aware of the safety of others.
8. Install and troubleshoot motor control centers, power distribution panels,
lighting panels and controls on foundry equipment such as mullers, molding equipment, shot blast equipment, dust collectors, melting and holding furnaces, and many other similar types of equipment.
9. Repairs, replaces and connects single or three phase motors, AC or DC on all types of production and
support equipment.
10. Uses multimeter and other test instruments when troubleshooting equipment.
Proceeds independently when installing or troubleshooting electrical equipment; obtains needed
information from wiring diagrams, schematic drawings and code books.
12. Report all unsafe conditions, injuries, and illness to your supervision immediately
13. Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and quality regulations.
14. Other duties as assigned

Degree in Electronics

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
