Georgia-Pacific, a local pulp and paper manufacturing company, is looking for Production Utility Workers for employment at the Brewton facility in Brewton, AL. Successful candidates will begin their careers in the production utility positions for our paper manufacturing areas, and will fill available departmental vacancies as openings arise. They will perform various manual tasks, and learn multiple operator functions in our power and recovery, shipping, pulp mill or paper machine areas. Our Production Utility workers will perform basic operator responsibilities and preventive maintenance tasks, such as lubrication. Candidates must be able and willing to work rotating 8 hour shifts, holidays, weekends, and overtime, as necessary. _Basic
Qualifications:_
Must have 2 years of manufacturing experience or comparable
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
Must be able to work in a hot, cold, dusty, and noisy industrial environment
Must be willing and able to work weekends, holidays and overtime, when needed
Must be willing to work around dust, oil, grease, chemicals, and other substances
Must be willing to adhere to safety rules and regulations, including wearing safety equipment
Must be willing to perform repetitive and / or demanding tasks, with or without reasonable accommodation

Forest industry experience preferred
